Since 1995, About Face Theatre has been telling cutting-edge LGBTQ+ stories. This has only been possible because of the support of people like you. Your financial support has had a profound and inspiring impact on queer artists and elevated the voices of queer storytellers. As a company, About Face Theatre is dedicated to promoting joy and unity, especially in times of strife. As we collectively witness the rollout of devastating legislative attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, especially our trans and non-binary siblings, we know that theatre has a powerful role to play. Gathering together to tell LGBTQ+ stories and experience joy in our community are powerful and forceful ways to maintain our visibility and build solidarity.

The experience of a live performance can nourish our humanity, build our power, affirm our existence, and point the way forward. In order to do that important work, theatre can’t be an expensive luxury reserved for the few, so About Face Theatre remains dedicated to offering tickets on a pay-what-you-can scale. Since implementing this ticketing model, we’ve seen attendance at our productions continue to grow. We couldn’t make this model work without the support of believers like you.
